Standard

The neck should be slightly arched, shoulders well laid back and the back level and short. Hindquarters need to be moderately boned with a well turned stifle. The feet are cushioned and feathered with a balanced length of tail in proportion with the body and once again well feathered.
When in motion they appear free moving and elegant.
The coat should be free from curl though a slight wave is acceptable, long, silky feathering is a signature of the breed.

Colourations are:

  • Blenheim: chestnut markings on a pearly white background
  • Tri-colour: black and white with tan over the eyes, cheeks, inside legs and under the tail
  • Black and tan: raven black with tan over eyes, on cheeks, inside ears, on chest, legs and under the tail
  • Ruby: chestnut all over, white markings undesirable
